Honda's 1.5L turbocharged inline-four, direct-injected with a single twin-scroll turbo and dual VTC. Introduced for the 10th gen Civic and since fitted across the CR-V and Accord lineups, it replaced larger naturally aspirated engines with similar output at better fuel economy — with the well-known tradeoff of fuel dilution in the oil during short, cold-weather trips.
